Ag In The Classroom
We’re bringing agriculture to the classroom!

Meet The Teacher!
Kerri Bush
I am excited to take on this new role of Michigan Agriculture in the Classroom Educator partnering with Ottawa County Farm Bureau and the Michigan Farmstead, home of the MI Farmstead. After retiring from more than 27 years in the elementary classroom, I now have the opportunity to bring agriculture education into classrooms throughout Ottawa County, helping educate and empower students through hands-on, engaging learning experiences.
My mission is to spark curiosity, inspire learning, and help students discover how much agriculture impacts their everyday life - from the food they eat to the clothes they wear.
Michigan Agriculture in the Classroom’s mission is to “increase agricultural literacy among youth and educators through high-quality programming and professional development.” Together, we can educate today’s youth on how much our lives are impacted by agriculture.
MI Farmstead is proud to offer Ag in the Classroom—a hands-on learning experience that brings agriculture directly into your school!
